I'm honestly still on a high from this past summer, AND my voice is even better. Exponentially better! So excited to be a part of this legacy. I'm overwhelmed with bliss.
Overall it was a great experience both professionally, culturally and socially and I learnt a lot by doing and working with seasoned professionals

Thank you so much for a dream of a summer! Lyric Arts France/Opera Bastide is an extremely special program in a magical location, and I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the summer.

This was a marvelous, expanding experience for me. I'm grateful for the opportunity to participate.
My expectations were exceeded by the festival. The performances were spirited and musically excellent. The less formal performances (like the presentations during market day) were also excellent.
I had a very cliché idea about France and the French. The reality was more endearing and enriching that I could have imagined. The normality, the simple evidence of having good food in good suroundings at a reasomable price surrounded by all sorts of people made me think differently.The reason I had come was to get some professional experience of the making of a show... it was much worth it.
I really enjoyed exploring new interpretations of my role in front of such an enthusiastic audience and learnt a lot from the voice faculty and music coaches. The French team was fantastic, and I’m deeply grateful to them as well.
Thank you and merci! It was a huge challenge for me, but in a good way. I was pushed beyond my bounds, and I enjoyed it.
There are so many things I'm thankful for!
Villefranche is lovely with an ancient history. I would like to get out and explore the region a bit more. I am grateful for the opportunities provided to me to do so. There were many who hosted visits and small parties. I could not be more grateful for those opportunities.
Wonderful place, lovely people, great food! This was the highlight of the festival and at the heart of my experience.
